Step into a world of Turkic mythology as Uruz, a young warrior whose home has fallen under attack from the forces of darkness. Fight with melee weapons and a bow, call upon ancestral animal spirits, and develop your abilities as you journey through a land of shamans, monsters and gods.

URUZ: Return of the Er Kishi is a single-player 2D action adventure with platforming, character progression, quests and rune puzzles, presented in animated pixel art.

Fight with weapons, movement and spirit powers

Take the fight up close with melee attacks and combos, or switch to your bow to strike from a distance. Double-jump across platforms, roll through enemies and use explosive items to add another option to your attacks.

Defeated creatures provide Nazar, the power used to summon the spirits of your animal ancestors. Choose a spirit power and spend your Nazar to bring it into battle alongside your weapons.

Develop Uruz through three Bitig paths

Earn experience, level up and spend Bitig points across the paths of the Wolf, Ram and Deer. Strengthen your attacks, improve your health and armor, or expand the capacity of your item belt. Further upgrades offer abilities such as firing three arrows at once or restoring health through successful melee strikes.

Collect equipment and useful items, manage what you carry, and buy or sell goods with merchants as you prepare for the journey ahead.

Explore, help people and solve rune puzzles

Travel through forests, caves and settlements, meet their inhabitants and take on quests. Find keys for locked doors and chests, gather items and face the creatures standing in your way.

Combat is only part of the journey. Examine rune stones, follow their clues and work out the correct combinations to complete their puzzles and claim rewards.
